eMOTIONAL sUPPORT bUNNIES

At Boujie & Co., our emotional support bunnies are raised with an intentional, hands-on approach that goes beyond our standard bunny program.

These select few receive additional daily handling, ENS training, early exposure to a variety of sounds, environments, and human interaction to help build confidence, calmness, and adaptability.

Because of the time and care required, availability is extremely limited and only certain bunnies will be considered suitable for this role. Pricing reflects the extra investment in their development and specialized raising process along with the quality of this bunny. NOTE: Bunnies without ESB training still make GREAT pets!

emotional support bunnies:

Early Neurological Training consists of exercises designed to stimulate brain development, increase adaptability, and help bunnies become more comfortable with varied handling and new experiences beyond average daily socialization. The goal is to encourage confidence, resilience, and engagement from an early age.

Because rabbits are naturally prey animals, many are not instinctively comfortable being held in certain positions, carried one-handed without support, or handled in unusual ways, and may flail when unsure. This is completely normal behavior and does not mean a bunny has a poor temperament. It is simply part of being a rabbit.

Our Emotional Support Bunnies receive Early Neurological Training built around the added confidence, trust, and stability these particular bunnies show during handling. These are bunnies that tend to be especially confident, exceptionally easy to handle, and, with continued training in their future homes, can make wonderful emotional support candidates

Can a “normal” bunny also become an emotional support bunny? Absolutely. Many can. Our ESB bunnies are simply selected and conditioned around natural traits they already possess, then further developed to be even more adaptable and prepared for close handling and companionship, we start this training after evaluations around 4 weeks of age for most bunnies.
