Boujie & Co. Mini Plush Lops 🤎🐰

Our Mini Plush Lop program is intentionally small, selective, and quality-focused. Our entire MPL herd consists of only five rabbits, and we are extremely particular about what we choose to keep and move forward with.

Our program focuses heavily on Vienna genetics and chocolate, including direct chocolates as well as carefully selected chocolate and Vienna carriers. Every pairing has a purpose, with our long-term focus being beautiful type, compact size, plush coat quality, temperament, and consistency.

What is a Mini Plush Lop?

Mini Plush Lops are known for their incredibly soft Rex-type coat. Unlike a traditional rabbit coat with longer guard hairs, the plush coat is short, dense, velvety, and stands more upright from the body. When you pet one, they feel much more like velvet or plush fabric than a traditionally furred rabbit.

Their unique coat also tends to have less loose, flyaway hair, which can make them easier for some allergy-sensitive homes to tolerate. We consider them allergy-friendly rather than truly hypoallergenic, because people can still react to rabbit dander, saliva, hay, or bedding regardless of coat type.

As pets, Mini Plush Lops can make wonderful little companions. They are generally:

Like any rabbit, personalities vary. Some absolutely love attention and handling, while others would much rather sit beside you, follow you around, or interact with you from the ground than be carried. We raise for good temperaments while still respecting that rabbits are prey animals with individual personalities.

With only five Mini Plush Lops in our herd, we don’t keep rabbits simply to increase production. We would rather have a tiny, carefully selected program and produce fewer litters while continuing to improve each generation.
